Classes
All classes are offered on a monthy basis. Private classes are available for each class offered. A 10% discount is given when any combination of 4 courses are taken. You must pre-register for all classes either by phone or mail. Please call if you need to schedule a private or refresher course or to check availability. Scholarships are available for those that qualify.
4 Week Labor Preparation Series: This class meets for a series of 4 weeks. Either on Wednesday evenings or Thursday evenings from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The course prepares both mom and coach for labor and delivery. How to recognize labor, when to go, hospital procedures, interventions and pain management techniques are covered. The cost for the course is $90.00 per couple.
Labor Preparation Intensive course: This class covers the same materials as the 4 week course but is delivered in one day. The class is offered on a Saturday from 9:00am-4:00pm. The cost is $100.00 per couple.
Breastfeeding Basics: This class covers everything you would need to know before you breastfeed, and more! Classes are taught by IBCLE certified instructor. Classes are held the second Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The cost is $50.00 per couple.
Newborn Care: This class covers everything normal and not so normal about a newborn baby. You will also learn how to bathe, diaper, dress, swaddle, burp the baby, as well as other important things a new parent needs to know. This class is a must for any first time parent or caregiver. Class is held the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The cost is $50.00 per couple.
Infant CPR: This is a great class for new parents, grandparents, and babysitters. Class is held the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The cost is $60.00 per couple.
